It was a fun year with the Yaris, we were honored to be chosen by Toyota for this project, and it was really cool that they had to vision to back this. However, we got an offer from another manufacturer that we can not refuse, so its time to start the next project. New cars arrive from Turin any day. :headbang:

The chassis is a 2007 model three-door. Less than 2000 miles on it. Has an awesome cage, full containment seat, right side net, fire system, everything to keep you safe. Sits on custom AST suspension, with 13" Jongbloed wheels (six wheels), new and used 13" Eagles, has two sets of 15" Koesi wheels (one with new wets, one with one race old dry tires). AiM MXL dash hooked up to the AEM engine management.

Put gas in it, start the car, and spend your weekends watching the guys with old cars wrenching.

Also includes a complete spare drive train, including sub-frame and suspension (only 95 miles on it). You won't need the spares, but it is nice to have a development engine laying around.

We have made great strides with the engine program since the Runoffs, and I don't think there is anything left on the table (see attached dyno sheet showing 2010 Runoffs and current configuration).

No idea on a value for this. Hit us with a reasonable offer.

I just realized that that pallet contains the entire drive train and front suspension. That alone could make for some serious fun - 1NZ-FE go-cart?

You are lucky it was a joke. I was going to hunt you down for selling it. Glad you are keeping it. Maybe when I get mine done, I will have some competition for you.

Not that I am aware of. We did it as a project for SportsCar magazine, but it has also appeared in Connection (a Toyota publication), and a few others have ran images of it from the SCCA Runoffs and other events the car has been at.

Modified Magazine May 2011.
I was just at WalMart trying to find DSport issue....

Your Yaris has a 4 page column on it...VERY NICE!

Congratulations!!

This is odd... Import Tuner was not at the event, but Modified and Super Street (all three Source Interlink mags) were. Now one guy saw it in Mod, and one in Tuner. I looked at the May 2011 issue of both, and it was not in either. However, there is a four page layout in the May issue of Super Street that I just picked up. :iono:

Regardless of where it shows up, this is awesome. I can not think of another time where one magazine builds a project car, and it shows up in so many other places. :w00t:
