Yaris starring in 24

Just thought it was interesting. If Jack Bauer will ride in one (what with his carjacking skills and all), I feel that much better driving one myself:thumbsup:

Still the best show on TV, and now it's even better:biggrin:

It's actually not really in a chase/getaway scene (thankfully) but it is an excellent example of just how far an advertising buck will go these days.

I recall in one of the early seasons of Alias, there was a rather obviously placed Ford Focus SVT hatch featured in a chase/getaway. It was kinda hiliarious how out of their way they went to show it off, as it was OMG Electric Blue in an otherwise drab setting and there were multiple shots of the badging so that anyone watching would know exactly what car (and what trim level) it was.

Yeah I hate how OBVIOUS the product placement can be in TV and movies nowadays... like the latest james bond... let's just take out this brand new 007 edition sony camera and take a picture...

I saw a Yaris hatch in some other TV... I forget which sitcom though.


Oh, and there was the (silver?) Yaris liftback in PRISON BREAK that that girl drove for like 2 episodes I think.
