Alberta wide Yaris Meet??

We have tired to set up a meet in Calgary since last summer (2010).
We have been unsuccessful so far.

Right now i am just gauging to see if we even have enough members on here to set up an Alberta wide Yaris meet?

Sorry i haven't replied back sooner. I have been on the hunt looking for a new job.

Options:

1. Have a mini meet in the city.
- Get to meet up, talk about cars, etc
- Go for a short cruise
(Bragg creek, Cochrane) Go for ice cream

other option we can go for a longer cruise:
- Banff, Drumheller, Canmore, Golden, BC

2. Have a mini meet in the city.
- Get to meet up, talk about cars, etc

- Go to a park have a bbq!!

If you have any ideas what to do, where to go.. Just post it in this thread.

^ Hint: Don't say you are open to anything. You need to decide a time and place. And people will respond to your selection whether they can make it or not. Don't wait for people's input...you won't ever get it that way.

We can decide where to drive to once everyone arrives.

So Hyundai had a mini course set up on the weekend at Crossiron so you could test out their new models...

Well they packed everything up today, but left the markings on the pavement!

My Yaris .. is going next week to the autobody shop to fix damage from a December accident. I probably am losing my job soon ... so I am pretty much out for any road trip. I am sad .. but I will have to watch my pennies until I find another job.

I'd say return the car back to stock, then use the money provided by the insurance company to pick up a different Yaris. I believe you can buy one in good shape for around $5,000 these days. Transfer the aftermarket stuff into the new one and you are now dent free! :)

As far as I can tell its suppose to be the best handling,Toyotas new philosophy, its going to have a more rigid body and stiffer rear suspension, and for the interior first generation yaris in north america to come standard with 6 inch screen and optional navigation. Its already on Canadian web sight but still. Have not seen one yet at the Toyota dealership yet
