Hi,
I bought this item by mistake from an online car parts dealer. It is for a hatch back not a sedan. I called and emailed the company but they refused to cancel the order even though it had been delayed. When I received the item I opened the box to inspect it. I return shipped it via UPS the next day. The company refused the refund because I opened the box and then shipped it back to me! I already took a loss by shipping this part back for nothing. At this point I would like to sell it so I can get the proper fitting exhaust for my 08 Sedan.
I am willing to sell the item for $350 which includes shiiping within the Continental United States.
Thank you for your interest. I will post pics once I upload them.

Who's the retailer? I'd like to make sure I don't do business with them, ever.

autopartsdealer.com Such a nightmare. :confused:They received a D rating from the Better Business Bureau. I should have checked first.

Take it to a muffler shop? They should be able to bend the piping man.

Is that price include shipping or its 320+shipping? Im interested!

The exhaust donut stays on the center pipe, it's pressed on. It's actually like a split bagel in appearance. I've swapped mufflers 4X now, and the donut's still good...

I can't even find this system listed on their site!?
What was the original cost?

Yeah, I have been searching for a shop that does mendral bending. There is a muffler shop that doesn't do bending but will install. I just don't want to be a victim of a hack job, ya know. I am looking to purchase the Magna flow exhaust that was specifically designed for the sedan. thanks for the interest.
If anyone knows a place that does Mendral bending in the NYC Long Island area I would greatly appreciate it
Thanks for the interest!!

The cost of the item was 362 shipped. I return shipped it 4 days to California cost me 56 with insurance. I spent about 400 on this already. I will sell it at a loss, but I cannot afford to pay for shipping again. The price to ship (because I researched it extensively) is about 100 bucks for 2 day shipping via fed ex, ups or usps. The cheapest I found was UPS 4 day shipping with insurance for around 50 something.

Hey AUX MIke!!!
I see your in LI. Are you interested? ITs a great deal, cheaper than you can find anywhere!!! SInce you live on LI we can meet to save delivery costs!! It really is a steal! I want to order the Magnaflow that is designed for the Sedan but it costs like 600, so I need all the cash I could get. The price of 320 is very very low, but at this point I'd rather sell it sooner rather than later so I can fit the magna flow oonto my sedan!!
Thanks for the interest!!:headbang:

Hi pops,
I already own 2 mufflers in my collection.
Don't see buying a third.
BTW anyone know if that's a louder unit? Kind looks like a serious growler....
Thanks for the offer though!

No problem AuxMike , I may still have it custom fit on my sedan. Do you know of any custom piping shops? Thanks

Is it louder than stock? Affect MPG?

Definately much louder than stock, Youtube it. This part Upgrades the stock exhaust system so yes it is better for MPG.

It comes with a removable silencer

Will the silencer make it as quiet as stock?

^ Not in a million years.
Should be slightly better than without the silencer, but I wouldn't think that there'd be too much of a difference in the end.

Right!!! SUch a Gimmick!! They are the Worst!!! I will never ever buy from an internet shop again based on this experience. Only from major retailers like crutchfield, amazon, etc.. These fly by night shops don't warehouse anything, they only order the parts from a thrid party when they receive the online consumer purchase. There is no reason why they didnt except the return except for the fact that they probably couldnt return it back to China!! So it was easier for them to just deny the return and keep my money...Such BS!!

Hey I am all for YW!!! THey helped me install my system. I love my Yaris and this is such a great forum!!! If I could sell this exhaust I would definatly buy one that is a "snap on." This exhaust is still in my living room, ready to ship. I would bring it to a muffler shop but I want to keep it in the best condition possible for the sale... I will support a YW vendor for now on, believe me!! I am just getting started with my yaris!! and now that gas prices are 4 bucks I am loving my yaris even more!!:respekt:

Hello Friends!
I am willing to take a loss, but I am not getting the offers that come close to what I want. I can not go exclusive on yaris world with this sale anymore. I have to list this item on craigslist and ebay as well.
Thanks

Take it to a muffler shop? They should be able to bend the piping man.

I have been looking at my HKS exhaust for the hatch back and comparing it to the Sedan exhausts. All I would have to do is add a 7-8 inch extension pipe in between where the muffler and where the pipe starts to bend

HAHA!! The Muffler shop guy told me not to do any more mods because I would void the 8 year, 80k warranty....but.... I really dont think its worth waiting till the warrenty expires to add engine MODS and I don't anticipate that adding headers and O2 censors mess up the engine.... :help:

Thats what the muffler guy told me. Beats me what the warranty is. I have to look into it. I doubt that the yaris has any major engine problems anyhow

I think the cat has an 8 year 80,000 mile warranty. that is pretty standard with all cars though nobody really needs to worry about it because cats usually don't just go bad.
