Last year I got my bicycle stolen from where I work sooo I had to buy a new one! so monday, I went to the store, buy myself a bicycle (Nakamura ecko 5.1) and then I got a Thule roof rack to carry it between my work place (Montreal) to my home on week end (Edmundston, NB!) soo I needed something that can take 550kms twice a week! SO far I love both!

I'd be curious what that does to gas mileage.

sorry for the delay about the mpg! its been a crazy week at the store!
ok, overall Montreal to Edmundston NB, my gps calculated 7.1L/100km. For me its not that bad, I drive at 115km/h and I still have my winter tires on. Usualy in summer with warm temperature, i can do 6.4L/100km max so not too bad!
