Hi

Will this toyota camry 2007+ Horn
Part#86510-AA010 fit on my 2007
Toyota Yaris Sedan version ?

Will it be a plug and play ?

Is there place where i could hear how it sounds
or can someone tell me if it sounds something like
the Toyota premium Horn ?

That looks like half a premium horn set (usually a dual hi/low configuration) And the bracket looks right for our car. Not sure of the plug ...cant be that different though. If you wondering about plug and play, I have to ask....you do realize your going to have to take off the whole front bumper area to do this dont you?

Well the connector is the same, but realize the yaris has only one horn, so if you get two you will need to either get another connector of figure it on you own. Maybe get another from a junk yard or ebay.

It is more expensive but just get the premium horn kit. There is a kit that contains the necessary Y-cable to attach both horns to our car. I bought this kit some weeks ago and it is absolutely plug 'n play.

I bought it from this guy:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-TOYOTA-PREMIUM-HORN-CAMRY-LUV4-SEQUIOIA-IS300-LEXUS-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem1c1345f6cfQQitemZ12058 2436559QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccesso ries

I can recommend him, received my kit in only 4 days from Japan to Germany.

I use the same. Completely plug and play. Horn is fantastic.

I didn't even have to remove the bumper. Just popped out the top pins and pulled the front assembly forward to get my hands in.

That's a good price. I bought mine last year from JDMpit.com and paid
quite a bit more. JDMpit had an e-Bay auction which was about the
same price, so I just ordered from their website. It took longer than
4 days for some reason. I'm pretty sure I paid less than the current price.

So again, that e-Bay price is pretty good.

The Hella Twin Tone sounds like the Premium ones. I can't hear any difference. It is red, not plug 'n play and cheaper. Thats all.

its not to hard to wire them up though

horns are dead easy. Find a 12v battery, splice the wires, see which side is groun and power, then screw the ground into somethign near the front grill, and splice the power into the original horn. Done.

I bought the same kit a couple months ago from the same guy. I haven't had the chance to install them so I have no opinion on the sound but in terms of the seller, I too was surprised at how quickly I received my horns from Japan.

The kit is complete; it includes the "Y" connector with the correct OEM connectors as well as a grounding wire and even the nut/bolt for the second horn.

I wanted to get a horn that sounded just like my IS300. I am not sure if the Ebay one sounds exactly like it but that is what the guy advertises. Plus, it is all plug and play because it is Toyota OEM so it uses Toyota connectors.

Yeah but, that is just one horn. The info is misleading/confusing about that.

The Toyota premium horn kit (from eBay) contains two horns at two different frequencys to give the clasic horn sound. It also contains the wire "Y" harness and mounting hardwar for a Toyota. It is a better value IMO.
It's what I installed in my Yaris an it's great.

Great choice.

Here's a DIY with pics. Scroll down the page.

You do not need to remove the bumper if you do it as described. I had plenty of room doing it that way.

You can get creative as to how to mount the horns. You can drill another hole as shown.
However, I just made a small bracket (out of metal I had on hand) which I mounted both horns on.
I then mounted the bracket (with the horns mounted on it using the existing hole. This way I did not have to cut any plastic, etc.

Well got mine from the Ebay dealer as advertised. Spent today removing bumper and steam cleaning. Dressed all the plastic parts, installed the horns and put it all back together. Kit came with the bolt etc to fit the empty threaded hole left of the stock mount. Great sound. Thanks to all in this thread for replies and links. I appreciate it.

I got that PIAA horn installed. its 2 horns, and you have to splice, or find a nifty way to connect them both.
