The liftback comes in Meteorite Metallic.

EDIT: The sedan comes in Silver Streak Mica

These are not the same color.

Yes. Medium Silver = Meteorite Metallic on the Liftback.

I had the same issue when the dealer was looking for my car. On the dealer internal inventory list it was labeled Medium Silver, when he browsed to the specific car, it was Meteorite Metallic. It is just an issue with their inventory system, but the 2 colors ARE NOT the same.

Technically you are right. Toyota labels them wrong. The only reason I knew is because I went to test drive a Yaris in August, and the guy kept calling it Medium Silver, but it was Meteorite Metallic.

When the fleet sales guy was searching for a Meteorite Metallic there was none to be found. he asked if I wanted White, Black, Red or Medium Silver. From my past experience In August I told him I wanted the sillver one.. and it was Meteorite Metallic.

Well I guess we can scratch one wrong off of my apparent laundry list.

I haven't had much luck in matching paint with these metallic jobs. I went through three different companies to get exterior paint for my car and none could give me a perfect match. Currently my paint is literally two different shades and it pisses me off, but there isn't much I can do about it now. Just an excuse to paint my liftback flint mica one day.

What's the paint code on the Mfg's tag your driver's side door post ?

Mine is Medium Silver Metalic (per Window Sticker) and the Code is "1F8".

This Code is the way the parts dept. determines your paint color.

1F8 is medium silver metallic, meteorite metallic and whatever other name Toyota wants to give this color.

My paint guy got a perfect match with mine Chino (mudflaps, fog bezels and a top secret project).

I'll ask him what brand he used.
