That's what she said... ;)

It's a 10" But it hits like a really good 12" or two ok 12's.

Don't hate on the big bore woofers. They're fun in a Yaris!

Nice, I ordered a sub from UK tested the sound quality at a shop pounds like a 12 inch aswell but my box is tiny. It is all custom fit though amp etc into the box.

Also had it wired to the stock deck so no aftermarket, had to inline it for the sound quality to remain if not better.

Is your sub alpine aswell?

it says rockford fosgate right on it.

if I had to guess, I would say the punch power series. been out of that game for a while so I may be a bit rusty.

so are you seriesing the two channels to get 4 ohms?

I like the 100oz magnet. when I was in it, RF was still doing spruce pulp cones. suprised they have gone with kevlar. maybe it is just for their power series.

I used to have a single DVC punch power 12 in a geo metro. that thing would hit hard. that was 12-14 years ago though. that was right before I got into JLs. I can't really complain about either of them.

here is what mine looked like (I had the 12" one)http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/library/1999/5_Subwoofers/LIT10226_PowerDVC_MAN.pdf

now I rock the baby seat and the factory system.

Amp is 600W RMS @ either 2 or 4 ohm... Sub is 4 or 1 ohm only. It's a trip, the single power port on the sub is a small plastic piece bolted to the cage, one side says 4 the other says 1. To change between the two you unbolt the connector and spin it 180 degrees.

You should add braces to the sub side of the box and down fire it, if the box is tuned right you will get higher SQ.

That box is temporary, hatch space is important to me...but so is a spare tire so I'm going to have something built that fits in there a little better and retains the spare. As is I was able to get a plant and some bags of concrete home in the space that's left, the box isn't secured so I can move it this way or that.

Do you need room in the back seat also cause I had a sweet idea for a box around the framing of the back seat.

Yeah, We have a 6 month old baby. We have other vehicles, but I'm not sure it would be a good idea to have one the baby can't possibly be put in...just in case. Otherwise I'd yank that seat out in a hearbeat...it was tough convincing myself to put it back after the sound deadening.

sounds like you need a mini van not a yaris :)

We use a Mitsubishi Montero(wife's car) as the minivan. My cars are the Yaris, a built 06' Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited, and a built 1970 Mercury Cougar. :)

The baby can still be put in any of the cars if need be. I don't want a car that my son can't enjoy as well...he's the world to me.
