Airbag Lights After Radio Was Stolen

Hello,

My car was broken in to and the cd player was stolen. I haven't replaced it yet so the harness is just hanging out behind the dash. Since this happened my airbag light has been on and the passenger airbag indicator under the hazard switch is dead. Could this be because there is no radio somehow or does this mean more damage was done to the wiring?

you sure you still got your airbag on they probably stole that as well..

If the wires were cut during the theft, there's a good possibility that's the problem..

^ Exactly. They probably pulled the radio out and snipped all of the wires, also clipping the wires from the SRS ECU to the passenger airbag indicator light.
