Can anyone tell me what the +/- wire colors are for the sedan (mine is an 09)? According to the guide it's supposed to be pink and purple or something like that, but my passenger door was blue/white. The speaker doesn't sound quite right so I think it may be wired wrong. I assumed blue would be + and white -. I'm planning to install the driver door speaker in about an hour and a half, but would like to make sure I get the wires right the first time if possible.

Thanks.

Did they change up the wiring ? Check out this and see if it helps. http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32971

Heh, Looks like they did something different, Let us know if the other side also has diff colors, if so then looks like we'll have to update the color codes.

I grabbed this :

Radio 12v blue + radio harness
Radio Ground white/black - radio harness
Radio Ignition gray + radio harness
Radio Illumination green + radio harness
Factory Amp Turn-on N/A
Power Antenna black + radio harness
LF Speaker +/- pink - purple +,- radio harness
RF Speaker +/- gray - yellow +,- radio harness
LR Speaker +/- black - yellow +,- radio harness
RR Speaker +/- red - white +,- radio harness

Yeah that's what I looked at before, but mine has blue/white instead of pink/purple. I'll report back what the other side is when I get it apart at home.

Ok, so the driver door was the purple/pink as the guide post suggested, so I know that one is correct. However, the passenger door is blue/white instead of grey/yellow. Any suggestions? Any sedan owners remember how they wired theirs up?

Thanks guys.

BTW I install Polk Audio DB651. They sound significantly better (even if the other one is wired wrong) and don't require a spacer or anything, you can just mount them with the included bracket.

Look on the factory speaker you removed, does it have any + or - markings on it ?

None that I can see, but if they are identical I guess I could compare it to the other side and see where the pu/pi compare to the blu/w... I think I'll do that when I get back home.

The blue wire is negative and the gray is positive, well on the Belta. RHD - Driver's door

If you look closely at the back of the connector you will see which one is positive.
