So I'm interested in picking up an Alpine KTP-445 "Power Pack" which is basically an amp..

The instructions for it though says this:
The factory radio circuit needs to be a minimum of 15A. If it is not, a separate power and ground will need to be installed for the KTP-445.

Can the factory radio circuit in the '09 5-door LB handle 15A?

No. The factory wiring only supplies 7.5A on the ACC switched power feed.

Bummer. I was hoping I wouldn't have to put a regular amp. in. I hate running all of those wires.
