View Full Version : Who's got pics of a Yaris with REALLY big rims?
I swear I've seen one or two here that have gone above 18", but the search feature doesn't seem to like looking for numbers and none of my other search terms have turned up what I'm looking for. Surely someone has got a pic of a Yaris with 20" wheels (or even 22"?)...right?

I saw a picture of a white Puerto Rican LB running on 22"s I think it was on cardomain. Not sure. Sorry.

20" seems to be the most you can realistically fit.
Most are members on this forum but it's easier to find on cardomain:

car domain...i need to update my space..........cant be fooked allwell.....
i believe with most small cars like tiida, yaris, barina...whatever, 17" - 18" is an ideal cosmetic enhancement to the car. 19" + would be a hassle.
But eh whatever salts ur fries

dont think 22's would fit.
20's look pretty sweet though, if you like that look :)

yup I run 20's.
22's would probably fit on the back but it was too much price difference to just 'try'.
Arent too many people keen on running huge rims. They do weigh 45lbs a corner compared to +/- 30lbs for the stock 14" steel.
I like them.

I think raising the yaris 5-10ft and put monster truck tires on it would be HOT.
That's just my thought anyway...

I would have used a hatchback, but that would have looked just plain silly.

yes. dont know if you recall me asking about optimum tire size - the tires that came in the set were originally 40 series but I upgraded to the 35s. good thing I listened cause that extra 5mils would have torn all the screws from the inner fender.
-that pic is hilarious-
has anyone seen the smart car on a 4x4 monster truck chassis?
From what Ive seen 18's would be the best look on the yaris and 16-17's if you want to have nice rims and rubber cheaply.
edit: heres a link for the monster smart....

Needs a really modest drop. Hack your stock springs.
A Yaris monster truck would be amazing.

the 40 series isn't signify the height of the sidewall in mm, it signifys the percentage of the width which is the height of the sidewall.
meaning the sidewall height on a 225/40 20 is 40% of 225 and the sidewall height on a 225/35 is 35% of 225.
the difference between the 40 series and 35 series is 11.25mm instead of 5mm
not a yaris but...

sorry, my bad. I meant on either side as approx. 5 either side of center... make sense? regardless It would have been a bad situation.
as a side note, Im thinking about lowering it - can / does an aftermarket spring such as zenn, tein or others lower the ride but keep spring rate so stiff theres little to no compression? I want to go tein coilover but dont want to dish out that much cash right now.
