love the rusted up rotors .. wonder if they clean them up or just let them work the rust into the pads

I think it was just washed or something. Every time I wash my car (or when it rains hard), a layer of rust forms on the rotors. A quick brake removes it.

Mine are that way after any rain in New England. Fact of life, and it all rubs off with the first brake. Nothing to obsess about. :smile:

If reliability holds/ bodes well over the next 5 years and Toyota doesn't have a better Yaris, iQ, small hybrid I'll be looking to "upgrade" from the current commuter/Yaris.

We have a whole lot in Fremont of Fiata full of them. Are people buying them? No not really....in my opinion, the design looks ugly. And yes....like a frog. I hate frogs :-/
