quick questions..

sorry if this has been asked before but..

i just bought my first set of new wheels and i was wondering if it matters if i just put the tires that are on my steelies on to the new rims

also, :confused:
wtf is up with the TPMS Rebuild Kit? do i need to install it or does it come on the rim? if i do need to install it, is it a difficult diy?
i do not want my tpms light on my dash.

Just have a tire shop swap over your TPMS from your steelies to your new rims.


You can reuse the tires if the rims you bought are the same size as the steelies.

I tried swapping my TPMS to a new set of rims and had a small leak. I will be ordering a rebuild kit (basically new seals) when I change tires in a few months. Keep us updated on how yours turns out.

so it was no big deal at all. i went to a local shop and they swapped my wheels with my stock tires, put on the tpms no extra charge, and a mount and balance all for $93. thanks for your input guyssssss
