alright, so after much deliberation and discussion, we've narrowed the list of vehicles...

if GTA people keep and eye open and an ear to the ground for deals, id appreciate it...

looking < 125,000km for all of the vehicles, manual or automatic (but preference to MTX), and need to have a/c, power locks and power windows

03-08 corolla/matrix/vibe
06+ yaris sedan
98-07 accord sedan
05+ altima
malibu maxx

Fiat 500. Seen a couple originals at a special antiques car dealership down in the OC, and seen only one new one running around locally this month.

^ :iono: Helps your post count, not that you care about such things.

What is your ball park budget?

Don't mean to add to your list, but has Mazda6 been excluded for any particular reason?

I assumed you were just curious about what's out there in general. You didn't mention anything here about why you were looking.

Also, when you said "new-to-us", I took it as you wanted to know what's new for the North American market.

I know you dont want anyones opinion but stay away from the 06 and back altimas with the 2.5 they were known for head gasket and oil burning problems.

pretty much stay away from the 02-06 altima with a 2.5 engine almost all of them burned oil had crank sensor problems throttle body problems transmission problems. the 3.5 on the other hand was a great engine as long as you use quality oil and change it on time.
