Jesus, I've been doing this for a year and a half already. There's nothing left to learn. I just posted the link so it's out there for the rookies.

LOL hey you said that not me.
Actually you started the same exact time I did (Remember "Invasion of the Pod Cars"?), so we're both at about the same level I would assume

I hope you are joking? No way you have the sport figured out after a season and half... What have you done, maybe twelve events? You never stop learning. There is no such thing as a perfect run, you will allays make mistakes.
You are simply in the sophomore disillusion stage. We have all been there, its when you think its the car/tires/anything but the driver is the reason you are not the fastest guy out there. I thought that when I was into my second year... We had a multi-time SS natl champ in my area, and I was convinced he was beating me because his Corvette was faster than mine. We swapped cars, results were the same. It took me five years to beat him, and to be nationally competitive.
Don't let local results fool you, run a natl tour or go to the Solo natls and you will find out just how much more practice you need. I have run so few events in the last two season, I think four total, and I can totally feel the rust. The more seat time you can get the better, and the school is a great opportunity to get some.
I guarantee if you sign up for the school you can still learn something.

I too, hope you were joking. I kind of thought you were posting because you didn't want to be the only one to sign up? I still consider YOU a rookie. D'OH
I agree with Jason 100% There is always something new to learn. I'm constantly trying to better myself. Reading articles, talking to people, and of course, practice.
From this yaris group, I think I'm one of the faster guys and I'm actually looking to see if I can fit this class in my schedule and budget. If it's possible, I'm going to attend. Who knows, maybe next time out I'll BEAT the Garm instead of being oh-so-close (in Long's car).
Drive on guys :burnrubber:

Okay comments noted, but I still have my doubts (for now at least).
Regular school starts next week, so best bet is for Saturday only. I'll know by next Tuesday. Meantime, who else is going?

I actually might go, if I can get down there the day before or something. Remember the 405 will be CLOSED for the weekend from the 101 to the 10 - it could be ugly on alternate freeways.

Garm, I just bought one of those air mattress dealios. It's fairly comfy. Beats sleeping in a bath tub like I did at Import Alliance :)
So you have option of (1) air mattress, (2) my tiny twin sized bed, or (3) bring a tent! and camp out in the back yard :)

Garm: did you sign up? I just did, though my name doesn't show up on the list. I might be on the waiting list.
Chewy: LOL, although I was prepared to sleep in the bath tub, I didn't. :)
And yes, yes you are (missing out on a good event).
