So recently my Yaris just got 100K. I was wondering what are some of the things I should check on. I am going to change the spark plugs, cabin filter. The intake is new and I changed the oil and oil filter. Is there anything major I should check.
Also, I went 30 miles on 1 bar of gas  and I was driving like I usually do. Tires are fully inflated, if anyone has any ideas about that, it would be much appreciated.

replace coolant? I hope you've changed gear oil before; every 30k miles with MT-90 redline. spray some MAF sensor cleaner.

Check the brake fluid. It should be clear.
Replace the filter gas in a tank of .

Did you do the valve clearance check at 60,000?
Its involved and since almost no other car has shimmed valves like the ECHO and Yaris, I question whether there are any mechanics qualified to do it. I suspect they take your car, dont do the work, then say "It was good!"
Needs new plugs at 100k also.

Because Toyota is too cheap to include it new. It does have a place for the filter. Though I have never bothered to put one in. No problems at 114K miles

e46 bmw m3 has shimmed valves. they get adjusted every 30k.....veeeery expensive maintenance. anyway, there are techs out there that know how to do it, and most good techs can do it with the appropriate instructions and some time and patience

All good stuff guys. But what about the transmission fluid. I have an automatic, so I wasn't sure when that should be changed?

Yes do that as well. I'm at 99,873 miles and will be at 100k in a day or so. Make sure to get the GENUINE AFT fluid from toyota. The automatic yaris can't use the stuff you get at autozone. Also replace the transmission filter. Don't get that from the dealer (It's about $85), I got mine at autozone for less than $19. Make sure with plugs to get the iridium plugs. No need to replace the fuel filter unless you have a problem. Reason is that it's located in the gas tank and part of the pump. My mechanic looked it up and its pretty spendy. He said I didn't need to replace it unless I was having problems.

I would find one of those to take my ECHO/Yaris to.
A home mechanic can CHECK the clearances themselves . Its not hard. Its ADJUSTING them where the problems come in.
Usually checking is all thats needed. But if tight exhaust valves are found that is motivation to find a mechanic to do the work...

Check the owners manual. But I believe the answer is: never.

the yaris calls for toyota WS (world standard) ATF. The only non-toyota fluid that I know of that isw compatible is BG's universal synthetic. It meets the spec

It does need replacing.
