What about the bracket?

OK, I am confused by the bracket question? What bracket? Why would the TRD unit need a bracket when the NST one does not?

Other than the retaining clip I can not see a difference between these. :iono:

Can someone clue me in?

This bracket. It's the one TRD now provides with their short shift kit (stock on the left, new bracket on the right). They saw the need to move the linkage over for smoother shifts, since the SSK single piece moved the cables and caused some binding.

Our Micro Image version will now come with the same two pieces as well.

For $20 I'd buy that SSK in a second. bump.

^ not to mention the new bracket is much lighter than the stock one it replaces, I'd say by at least a good pound if not more. I didn't have a scale on hand, unfortunately.
