I already looked into this. None of the aftermarket Panoramic Roof kits will fit the Yaris because the roof is too curved, especially towards the front edge. Plus, the span between to tow roof bands is narrower than the width of the narrowest panoramic kit, so in other words, it isn't possible! Trust me, i spent over a month measuring up for this mod!

Maybe we are stuck on the word "panoramic".
At least two members on here have put on sizable, electric-opening sunroofs that look and work great on the Yaris. I don't have the links handy but a search might turn them up.

I've seen their pics.... honestly.. its like the windows you would find on an airplane, awfully small. You also risk unpredictable rust, might as well not do it.

My Webasto power moon roof opens to 18" x 32", which is a good sized opening for the size of the Yaris roof.

Are these the pics you saw? This install doesn't look "awfully small" to me, nor likely to rust at all.

That is no where near panoramic. And now have a look at the inside

some people might feel worth it, but some dont...... in my opinion i still think is small so i will wait for the new yaris to come:) I want the panoramic look, not just a vent to the roof :)
Here is the new yaris panoramic sunroof, note the edge to edge and it extends to the rear passenger side

That interior pic is actually not of the same moon roof. The exterior one is my Webasto. Here is the interior of it. As you say, it is definitely not panoramic, but it with it open, the opening extends from about 6" from the windshield to just past the front head rests and about a 6" from the sides.

It wasn't cheap, but I am so glad that I got it. Now, with my seat heaters, I can even drive with it open in the Winter.

I've been thinking about one of these but it's close to the bottom of the list right now.
