Rims + tires for a 2007 Yaris sedan

My first post (yay!)! Please be gentle with me, I am a complete n00b when it comes to anything mechanical about cars, and I have been having difficuty understanding the language used in some of the other threads. :iono:

I recently bought my first car, a 2007 Yaris sedan, and I'm very interested in getting some large(r) rims and thus new tires for it. Right now it just has the stock tires and default toyota hub caps. I was hoping for a nudge in the right direction, or even some suggestions for rims (16" or 17") that would look good on the light/powder blue sedan.

im getting 16" x 7 Rota rb +40 offset today... look at the other threads. not only are there a lot of knowledgeable people but they really make sure you dont end up with something you will regret later.

and see what you like. most of the pics have which wheels, size, offset, etc., as well as which tires/tyres are fitted. There are other threads that deal with fitting and rubbing issues(the Official Tire and Wheel guide - should be visible)
