White's always the most noticeable on windshields, especially if they're tinted. Or you could go black (or red for a more sporty look) with a white outline, that'd be nice too!

More or less every color! red, blue, white, green, black, pink, purple, grey, yellow, orange, brown, etc etc.

We're also looking into adding special materials too, like 3M reflective, or silver/gold metallic, but that's not yet available.

OK, just got a call back from the shop, a few more material options.

Metallic colors gold, silver, and champagne gold can be done for $0.50 extra per layer for either small or large.

Frosted material is a lot more expensive, double the price of the standard material.

Anyway I'll be getting some samples in a few days and will post pics ASAP.

got mine in the mail. first the packageing was horrible there was nothing to support it from bending. second, the sticker was partially detached in the envelope so the paper of the envelope was stick to the bottom of the "y" and messed up the glue. Third the sticker was ripped on the "M and W" so it took a while for it to get lined up right. very unsatisfied

Guys... before everybody gets angry, just keep in mind that your fellow enthusiast is an amateur vinyl producer and shipper. He's just a guy... a guy (two guys, I guess) who tried to help out the community. And how much did they cost? $3-5 each? Not a huge loss... no biggie. I can think of quite a few people who spent more money on "mods" that worked out to be quite a bit less than perfect.

I did not pay very much and I did not pay any significant amount to ensure I was paying for packaging too.
That being said I am hoping that the gamble on the mail man not messing up my letter works out.
Summing up my thoughts, I did not pay 5 more dollars to ensure packing will protect the sticker, therefore I will have to suck it up and try again if the mail man doesn’t take care of my letter.

I can't wait to get it!

The thing is, the shop where they're getting done is in a different part of the country, so I could not verify the packing myself, though I asked them to make sure it would be well-packed. Anyway, I now explained the problem to them, it won't happen again. I'll be going back down there next week, too.

Anyway I talked to vodkalush who received the batch order already, only two of them got a bit bent, if he can't fix them up I'll replace them FOC.

My big sticker arrived. A couple bent edges, but the adhesive is fine... I threw them under a bunch of heavy ass books in the attic. They'll go on in the spring.

You mean the masking tape? That should not be a problem, see if you can peel it off lightly so you can inspect the vinyl layer.

I see what you mean, it should really not cause any problems. You might still want to try and flatten it out, especially if you use the wet method to apply the sticker, as the crease might prevent some of the water from squeezing out.

yeah, the soapy-water solution trick is the only way i know how to apply decals. now i just have to find one of my applicators or a small squeegy (sp?).

Hey thank you for mailing me the sticker :thumbsup: Its great. Here's my Yarisworld.com sticker on the vehicle.

The quality is good. The size is perfect. I ordered silver, but silver is like chrome. I didn't like the chrome on my tinted window and decided that directly under the licenses plate would work. I will order new stickers in the color code #853. I'll put them on the bottom of the rear side windows. I will post a daylight picture later. Rwseattle.

Sorry about the confusion, in my defense, I did state and highlight in my first post that the layers are supplied separately :wink:

But really if you use the dishwashing liquid solution system it allows you to slide the sticker around and align it properly before sticking it permanently. Or you can cut out each letter and put them on one by one, it might be a bit easier to handle.

hey etimago, you shold tell them to not use masking tape. i had a very hard time putting on the YarisWorld.com decal. i had no problems putting on my "got yaris?" decal because they didn't use masking tape. now i'm not sure if the YW decal will last long or not...

I'm getting frustrated with this myself. My friend who's making the stickers is doing some renovation at his shop but he assured me that second batch of stickers (the ones that have not yet arrived) would have been shipped before the work started, but I'm starting to think that's not what happened. The problem is, he's in a different part of the country so it's a bit difficult to keep track of this. I will get back to you all once I have a straight answer and proof of shipping. I trust my friend to have done the stickers, but it has been pretty hectic for him, you guys will receive them one way or another.

I may actually invest in a small cutting machine myself, solve a lot of headaches...
