Guys, I have 3 that have seem to go out on me. Have any of you had this problem? I tested for signal/ power at the harness end at the lock and they are getting signal/ power when the lock and unlock button is pushed. But they still do not work. The 3 that went out are the front drivers side, front passenger and rear drivers side. The only one that works is the rear passenger side. I removed one and can't find anything wrong with it visibly. See below. This is from a 4 door.

I can't imagine that three died at the same time, so I would suspect a wiring issue. You can fire the lock/unlock motor with it removed to test it. Which door's lock is that in the picture? In the picture, the connector doesn't look like it has as many pins as it should.

Pictured is the rear drivers side. Their are only 2 pins. One for lock and unlock.

You should be able to lock/unlock the assembly by applying power to those two pins. You reverse polarity to switch between lock and unlock. With it off of the car, you can probably fire the lock solenoid with a 9 volt battery.

My front passenger door lock quite working months ago then a few weeks later my rear passenger lock quite working. I know they get power because they move slightly when I press the button. But they won't lock or unlock. I was hoping someone had a suggestion.

Wondering why this happened and if there is anything we can do to ward this off. Subscribed.

No idea, bought 3 used ones at a junkyard and they work fine!
