I just got my oil and spark plugs changed yesterday and now the check engine light is on. Plugged in the obd sensor and I got the code P0301, which thanks to garms code list I found on the forum came up as cylinder 1 misfire. One of the spark plugs were dropped yesterday before installation. When the car is idle it feels unsteady. 500rpm. Ideas? This was the first time i believe these plugs have been changed, at least since ive owned it in Dec (08).

Just looking at the Ignition pdf:
http://www.etimago.com/yaris/repairmanual/Ignition.pdf
It would appear that #1 is closest to the battery or driver's side in the USA.
However, you might want to wait for the experts to chime in. :iono:

My guess is #1 is the one you dropped.
Replacing the dropped plug with a new one would be the first thing I would do to resolve the issue.

Hmm, just looked at the EWD:
http://www.etimago.com/yaris/repairmanual/EWD.pdf on page 48,
and it shows the opposite. So, don't go by me. :frown:

Number 1 is typically closest to the crank. So its going to be farthest left when looking down at the engine.
