Hello,
I'm new the forum, but I appreciate all the info available. My 2007 Yaris (love it) has a 3rd brake light (the one in the windshield) that is not working. My usual car guy doesn't have a supplier for the special LED bulb that is needed to replace it. Does anyone know of 1) the cheapest way I could find one; and 2) how hard it is to do it myself? Thanks for all the help.
Rick

Hi and welcome. I see you're near by, I live in Gettysburg. I can't remember any Toyota parts dealers off the top of my head but check out our vendor section. We have a few people on the site who work for or though Toyota and can get you OEM parts for 10-20% below list price. And I would say (without knowing how mechanically savvy you are) that you can install it yourself.

Staticorex - thanks. Another stupid question: how do I get to the Vendors section? Searched around for it, but couldn't find it. Thanks in advance.

The part lists for $116 (81570-52210), but here is one on ebay for $65. Before you buy one, you might want to pop the cover off of yours and make sure that the connector is not just oxidized from the rear window condensation.
