so i'm installing new springs AND shocks. everywhere i've read (it seems), the bump stop is to be cut only when you're putting short springs over stock shocks...there's never any mention of the bump stop when you do both???

do new shocks come with their own (mine havent arrived yet...tm, lol).

also, how much do you cut for tanabe df210s? (cant quite seem to find the spec on the website) im intalling them with tokico blues tm (hopefully) and painting my rims all in the same shot.

i've never so much as changed the oil on a car....wish me luck!

1. Good luck.

2. Tanabe DF210 instructions should have a mention where you cut the bumpstops in half. I would do this even though you are also changing the shocks.

hate to be a PIA but does anyone know what the spec is? i bought the shocks off someone on here today and there arent any instructions in the box...i'll keep looking and worse case scenario i'll just do w/e chris did in his diy (which i'll be using) as he uses df210s :P

Ah...tokico shocks manual says to cut 1/3"-1/2" of the bumpstop length...hmmmm...
