Hey I have been looking all over the forum to see if anyone has replaced our front seats with seats from some other vehicles mfg's.
Does anyone know of any other seats (Not Aftermarket) that will fit on our existing base. I was looking at a set of Integra Leather seats on Craigslist that are real nice and was wondering if anyone knows what type of seats will fit onto our existing base.

I don't know if they'll fit or not but I'd go with 2011 Corvette Z06 seats:drool:

Somebody had done seats from a Mark 5 VW Rabbit. Said the GTI seats would work as well. I tried searching for it but it hasn't turned up yet, but I know it was posted on this forum. I'm considering finding some MK5 GTI seats myself because those bolsters are AWESOME.

Does anybody know if any of the Scion model seats would be a direct fit into the Yaris?

Keep in mind that replacing the passenger seat may cause the airbag system not to work properly. We have a module (designed by CTScott) to fix that when using another brand of seat or a racing seat.

have you ever sat in a Vette? no thanks, I swear they make them believing the first thing every owner is going to do is go out and buy a racing seat.

scion tC seat not a direct fit....nearly impossible to pull the frame of the seats apart to mount on another frame.....it can be done but gthe seat is also not very comfy unless you put in a Clazzio seat cover on it,bad bolster fitment on the seats too.

Yes I have & they're F CKIN BAD A$$. Just last month I sold my DeTomaso Pantera I had for 24 years (you can see it in the ''what other cars do you drive'' thread) and the only thing that I hated about the car was the seats (1972 technology& style). I sat in & drove Porsches, Vipers, Infinity's. Once I sat in a new Vette and drove it I was sold.
Well, its just my opinion. Anything would be better than a stock Yari seat.
Even my 08 ''S'' LB seats are not comfortable at all.
I'm actually thinking very hard about a 2012 Vette Grand Sport convertible.
I know, I'll take out the seats from the Vette & put them in the Yari and put the Yari seats in the Vette.

I was thinking that possibly seats from a 1999-06 Celica, or or any seats from a Lexus or Toyota coupe may fit. Our seats surely suck and was looking to see if anyone was sucessful in replacing their seats with seats from another car.

a buddy installed Celica seats, not last gen but the one before in his tC and they bolted up to his frames ..........on the yaris seats, might be an option, they sit great and he scored them for like $125 from a junkyard in near new shape,no tears,or stains.

I'm interested in this as well. I'm a new Yaris owner as of a few weeks ago. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the car, but some more seat adjustability would be great.
I used to have WRX seats swapped into my legacy, I wonder if those seats would swap over.

I had read rumors on this forum about the '10+ having improved seats, but a quick check of trdsparks parts list shows that the seat frame is the same for 07-11 hatch. Other seat replacement threads can be found for fitting racing seats, but those tend to be about trying to lower the seat height, not just the comfort.

'00 celica seats fits very well but you must swap the track sliders. They are similar but the brackets are not at the same location. Those seats look neat but expect to sit low in the car, very low. Not recommended for 5' 7" and shorter drivers.
The steering from the same celica is a direct fit also, air bag, etc. I did this on mine and I even installed a celica shifter with the leather boot. Shortened the shifter a good 3" at the same time.

Bringing this back from the dead
I found a couple of sets of seats online from a 7th gen celica.
Want to know if these are direct bolt on before I pull the trigger

Unfortunately i don't think any gen of celica is a direct fit. I bought a set on some elses advise and found that the brackets did not match up. By the time you fabricate a new bracket and clean the seats up it might be better just to buy a set of racing seats that will bolt in.

The rail width is the same as the first gen '99-'05 chassis. Not sure about the newer gen. I have Celica seats in my car, but I had to swap the rails from my stock seats to do it. I was quite involved because the rails don't unbolt, they had to be disassembled.

Can you post pics of the seats in the car and the rails

Not much to see from the rails. Only difference was the physical locations of the bolting points from the Echo seats to the Celica seats.
I'll snap a pict later for you though.
