could anyone post an picture of an rear strut bar that theyve installed in thier hatchback. I'd like to add on but dont want to loose too much trunk room

I'm wondering what the real-world benefit of this would be. I get what the rear sway bar does, but this seems dubious at best--mostly because it only anchors two points.

BASICALLY, its for looks and takes away from your cargo area........

It really has serves no purpose other than looking cool. If the car actually had STRUTS on the back, maybe it would have an effect, but mounting it to the top of the rubber mounted shocks doesn't do anything.

Why would anyone put it there? I'd rather have it underneath the car where it belongs.

i got mine simply cause it was part of my sponsorship with GT SPEC way back when.....

I don't even think it looks cool. To me it looks plain stupid. Sorry, but maybe I got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. :wink:

I have a C-one brace and it sits on metal, I had to remove the rubbers. It has the hole barely big enough to fit the shock through..i'll post pics when i get the chance.

your c-one does mount differently then my gt spec or any others ive seen! BUT according to TAMAGO its still useless....

still pretty lol. its kinda useless until i get the TRD rear shock mount that's a much harder rubber/silicone compound :)
