5 speed shift plate?

My 2007 Yaris,a 5 speed, was making a rattle at slow speeds. I took it to the dealer and after only 15 minutes said problem solved. He said it was a loose shift plate. Did not charge me but the fix lasted only a month. Anybody know what the heck this is? Can I fix it myself? Thanks!

Hmm I have never heard of that but maybe someone else has?

On the other hand you could bring it back to the same service manager and tell him "Its doing it again".

Like over the phone. Maybe he can tell you what to do?

On Monday the 15th, I am taking it back to the dealer and I did ask him if he could show me what is going on. I will post back and take a picture. Thanks.
