CD Player freezes

This has happend a couple times. You go to put in the CD and it wont go all the way in. So you remove the CD and the player flashes Reading Disk. The disk isn't in, you can't put the cd in. It seemed to reset after I parked and return but then did again a little after that while changing CD's.
It's an 09 Yaris hatchback.

Is it broken then? I am not loking to replace. I can deal witht he radio. Just wondering if there is a quick fix or reason for what has gone on.

if your under 36k miles then id hit up warranty at my local dealer.....
