Nice...that's what I thought it was. I've got a hilux in the driveway that I need to start on.
How often do you go the Pomona swampmeet? Decent parts...can often find stuff you can't find elseware? My buddy is looking for an axel to make a trailer out of. I think what he has in mind is something from harbor freight but he doesn't want to pay for that one.

R.fumes - yeah, you can find all kinds of stuff there. Unfortunately, pre 80 toyota and pre 70 datsun parts are hard to find. Especially pre 70' datsun trucks. I usually look for universal parts or some cool s***. Example, I bought a vintage clown puppet because it was trippy, can use it for halloween, and for a good price. Lol
Toyota hilux?!....sweet!..... one of my favs. Is it running?
Hope your friend finds a decent axel. Pomona has a few people selling them and some vendors come out to sell trailers too. Yeah, harbor feught is cool for some stuff but there some stuff you just don't buy there. I still love harbor frieght because its nice to my wallet, haha
Don't get me wrong, I know this is a yaris forum, pomona swapmeet is usually pre 80's classics but there is a lot of other vehicles out there too. A lot of american classics, huge vw section, and some rare suprises. Last time was a row full of edsels and today had 3 fiats. If anything, I posted for the mere appreciation of automobiles.

Ya, I have a '74, it runs. Needs a brake job but I don't want to put in money for parts when I might change it all to discs down the line. I got it for Home Depot runs and as a project down the road.
New school, no job keeps me from tackling the project.
I'm over here in San Bernardino. Might be cool to just go hang out there. Where is it at and what days? Best days to go?

well hopefully you get it back on the road... yeah, i have two jobs and i am still broke, lol...and same here, i am planning on disk brakes for my truck but with the yaris, i gotta be realistic as to what i need and what i want.
yeah, san ber is a far but not too far from pomona. theres people that travel from all over the states to sell or buy cars. if i go to the next event, i will look out for parts for your truck or see if i spot a hilux and snap some pictures for you.
