Custom 3rd Brake Flasher Install

I had a Kahtec flasher module installed (currently for sale), but it only flashed when you first applied the brake. So I made a new circuit to flash the 3rd brake light 4 times, then on for about 15 seconds, then restart the cycle. All timing is adjustable. Now I just need to see about adding more than four pulses. The video below shows what it does:

I have one of these with the defauly setup, in that it only blinks when first applied and solid thereafter if pushed within a few seconds.

I don't understand the logic behind your setup.

Why would you want it flashing this way?

Yeah, I had the same module like you currently have. I have it flash like that because people in this area don't pay attention. It's just added insurance that I don't get rear-ended. I know our delivery trucks get rear-ended all the time, so I might add this to them as well. Besides, ambulances have it repeat...

Looks good lil abner. Can you make it pulse faster?

I actually installed a flasher module also the same time as my rear intermittent wipers (MK178). It blinks real quick 5 or 10 times.

I bought the module at the same place since they had a minumum $15 order, lol.

Yeah, I can adjust how quickly they flash, as well as the duration before it starts again. That's nice you got yours with the rear module. Like you said, you needed something else!
