I was thinking to see if anyone knew if there was a shift light that could be added to our existing oem tach, like an autometer type shift light. I don't want to add a whole autometer type one with shift light as I already have the tach. I seen some out there that can hook up directly to your existing tach but I am not sure if it compatible.

I like the one with the Orange LED shift light, Stand Alone Mini Digital Shift Light.

I'm pretty sure Garm sells a really nice shift light that can run independently....I remember talking to him about it a while back.

While that one is okay. I am not really feeling it. (My personal taste) I have purchased from Garm before, but I was thinking of going towards the shift light style. I was hoping someone knew if it could be done.

Yeah, it can be done as long as you use a stand-alone shift light. Just tap it into power, ground, and a tach signal, set the RPM you want the light to trigger, and you're all set. I think all the major companies sell stand-alone units.

lots of companies sell shift lights in various shapes and sizes. Autometer for example.

The Ecliptech is much more useful and effective than a single light, but if it's not your cup of tea, that's ok.

Please let us quote any product before you buy it somewhere else!

The good ol' aussies at mighty car mods just did a pretty neat install on a r34... as far as on our tachs, I haven't seen the inside of it so dunno, check it out anyway, stealthy install.. instead of having that huge tube.
