The best upholstery cleaner for keeping your favorite pieces of furniture is waiting for your humble vacuum. Its empty, you probably have an attachment designed just for your upholstered furniture. Use this as part of your weekly routine, and you will not have to worry about cleaning your furniture more largely.

^ doesn't really answer the OP's question...

I've used several products over the years, but set in stains are the hardest. You might be able to not fully remove it, but at the very least change the depth of the visual portion of seeing it. Try usuing 303 Carpet and Upholstery cleaner. Before trying that I would use a baking soda and water mixture. Rub it over the stain, not forciong it in to the seat. Let is sit for 15 minutes then vac it up.

After eons of wanting one, I recently picked up a Bissell Little Green Machine. I was floored by how much shit that thing sucked out of my seats, not to mention the carpets. Highly recommended.

I ended up giving mine away. I used it on my house carpet, and I quickly figured out that depending on the pile of the carpet, the result would be different. I'm sure for the tight low pile of the auto carpet it works great!

Dude, take out the seat. Hose it down, mix up some detergent solution and scrub that sucker and rinse, repeat. Let it air dry. Then you maintain with a nice upholstery cleaner.

Dude, take out the seat. Hose it down, mix up some Carpet cleaning brisbane (http://www.carpetcleanerking.com.au/carpet-cleaning-brisbane/) detergent solution and scrub that sucker and rinse, repeat. Let it air dry. Then you maintain with a nice Carpet Cleaning Sunshine Coast (http://www.carpetcleanerking.com.au/carpet-cleaning-sunshine-coast/) upholstery cleaner.

It looks pretty simple way of cleaning but I think it has more chances of damaging the seats rather than cleaning. I have spoiled my carpets by cleaning it with detergents many times and now I hire professional or prescribed cleaning methods. Thanks for reading my first post

I used a carpet cleaner, worked like a CHARM. Didn't even need much detergent, if at all.

Oil, goo, gum etc - Mineral spirits. Works great in carpet, too.

General dirt etc - warm water and dawn dish detergent.
Use a shop vac to suck out the solution, then go over with plain water and use the vac again. Then let dry.
Spray on cleaners, especially carpet cleaners, are magnets for dirt. It may look clean after you follow the directions. But the residue attracts and holds dirt. Say no to these cleaners.

I use Resolve Carpet Cleaner. Spray it on, scrub it around, then vacuum it off, and let it dry.

Vacuum often so that small food scraps and bits of dirt easily find their way into your car. The best way to counter this natural lack of cleanliness is to vacuum often.

Worked really well on the carpets and seats
For the mats, which were really dirty, I brought them in the house took them down to the basement and used a hose attached to a sink (warm water) and used http://www.walmart.com/ip/Ajax-Triple-Action-Orange-Dish-Hand-Soap-90-oz/19514874 (Theres a floor drain)

Meguiar's APC is good for interior cleaning. The Tuff Stuff for spot cleaning.
