hey, i am a little concerned about something that i have noticed recently, though i dont know when it started. When i am going under 40 mph i dont hear anything, but when i hit 40 i hear a slight ring, but im not sure it is actually there...kind of playing tricks on me.

Then as i hit 50mph i am sure, there is def a ring, its just faint, 60 and its very clear, then 70mph and is pretty much squeeling--or more so a high pitch very audible chime ringing continuously, and if i am going 70-80 or any other speed and let my foot off the gas it goes away instantly. I dont think thats normal but if it is let me know...

so I guess i have to bring her back in to the dealer, but any ideas what it is so i can have some knowledge before i take it back to those jerks down here in south carolina?

Well, Since the sound is increasing as the speed increases its probably not the engine. I would say something about transmission/drivetrain. But if I were in your shoes I wouldn't do anything myself.

ringing or bearing whine?

I had calipers that got diry behind the pistons and rubbed that made some high pitched whine. Similar with hooped wheel bearings. also had some extraneous body bits and pieces that whistled.... grasping at straws...
