Hey guys, i've been looking all over for some sport pedal covers for the yaris with a MT (They look exactly like this (http://6idtgq.blu.livefilestore.com/y1pMozTDy1_otrvtz2yQo9Sg1DzY1MpQryw9ovgPkoQurb4hi3 OElRq75pCgACx_Z9FuIq16jQXNct07l7NVIYAFA/IMG_2537.jpg?psid=1) ), and since they've been discontinued...they seem to be a rarity and I can't find them anywhere.
However, upon recently looking on Ebay, I found some pedal covers that look exactly like the ones for the Yaris, except they are for the Scion xA and xB.
Does anyone know if they will still fit the Yaris?
Here's the Ebay ad btw: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Scion-xA-xB-Colored-Sport-Pedal-Chrome-Blue-Red-/350292273063?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item518f0be7a7

(I don't work for this site)
Same as from Texas Toyota. p/n PTS22-52063
I would assume they aren't discontinued and you could reference your local Toyota dealer the part number and see if you prefer.

I've already checked out TRD sparks, actually I even tried to order the pedal covers with my spoiler I ordered from them, they sent me an email saying the pedal covers for the yaris had been discontinued and they refunded my money for them.

That's some bull shit. I'd be pissed.
(rhetorical)
A) why'd they discontinue them?
And
B) why not take them off their site or say they are discontinued like the auto pedals say?

I know! It's crazy.
They did set the price as N/A though, so maybe that's they're way of saying it's discontinued. :iono:

Im assuming you heard of all the Toyotas going out of control because of a pedal defect. As a precaution toyota discontinued all pedal covers. So you can thank all the morons for not knowing how to operate a car for the discontinued pedal covers.

Ladies, can we please put on our big girl panties long enough to answer the gorram question of the thread?
All i'm wondering is if I can still get the pedal covers, even if they are from an older Scion xA or xB.
And besides, I don't think Rockland is out to get you Applejack, I believe he or she just wants some rock solid evidence to back up your claim.

Whats up your rear? What is it going to gaing you proving me wrong? You look like a fool and its not making your e-cock any larger. Show me a letter that says they didnt discontinue them on all models for this reason.
Maybe Rockland can provide the covers for you. With FREE shipping!!
Then the discontinue issue is over.
If not, just wrap some aluminum foil around them ''VIOLA''

I'd really like to see these installed. I liked my OEM brushed pedals in my Celica GT-S.

Yeah, the part where it says "Sale price NA". It used to say about 33 dollars until I tried to order some. Now they're apparently discontinued.

If I ever get my hands (er...feet rather ) on some then i'll be sure to put up some pics.

So are those Lexus pedals slip-over covers like aftermarket ones, or do they actually replace the existing pedals? (I'm tall, 6'3", and anything that moves the pedal closer to me is getting uncomfortable lol)

^ TIP: remove the pedal covers and put grip tape. Just bought yourself another 1/4".
For those practicing heel/toe for racing, just do the gas pedal.

These look like the pedals in my IS300, especially the gas pedal with the side tab.
Also, is your gas pedal assembly non-stock? It looks like you have a steel gas pedal assembly (it's thinner) whereas mine is plastic.

Yes the pedal is out of camry sport/is350. Pedal has to be modified doesn't sit correct the angle of pedal is wrong a bit. Distance is not diffent then stock after modding it.

I dunno .. i waS never lucky with the sport peddals ... They get tangled sometimes with the floor mat ...
I dont recommend it
krusty

if the floor mat is installed correctly and not some bulky aftermark junk then no issue will be had
