Hello

I'm a newcomer to the wonderfull site - and just wanted to share my latest Trackday-video with you...

I've done som mods on the car - and it's pretty effective on the track now...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7JhEdPoolA

The track is "Padborg Park" here in Denmark, and my Yaris got a bigger turbo + remap of the ECU, Tein Basic coilover suspension, Whiteline rear swaybar, camber adjustment and 16" OZ Ultraleggeras.

I havent got any pictures with my new Ultraleggeras - but i've got these photos af the car with the OZ Supertourimo GT's.

It started like this:

And then I began modding the car a bit...

255mm brakes from a Yaris 1,5 T-Sport (RS) was a must

TRD bushes all around, Whiteline rear swaybar, TRD Underbody rear brace

The result:

The engine is now putting out 115 BHP/208 Nm @ 1,55 bar (boost), standard: 0,9 bar.

It's great fun now...

great mods, nice spot for the eBoost (I've had that unit before, liked it).

Excellent! Sounds like you were being a little cautious with the throttle

Thanks!

Yes, the Eboost fits very nice in the dash - just had to make a adapterring, end make some cutting in the "ventilationhose" behind the dash.

The small diesel-engine revs to aproxx. 5.200 rpm, and 95% off the time, its full throttle on the track... So... Either the sound is to bad (its not great - I know) or your using a funny thing called irony...

Here we go again - but this time I take it a bit easy at first. We had a lot off oil on the track, and i'm the first to drive round, after the cleanup. Oil and tyres dosen't go well together...

The 5200 rpm explains what I hear in the video, thanks for the clarification. (Our USDM rev limit is 6250).

Petrol-engines rev a bit higher that diesels...

Impressive result on your Yaris btw. :w00t:

Sounds like you're rev'ing the diesel way to high. Mine is not producing much power above 4500 RPM, but i only got stock 2010 with 90HP and 205Nm and 6-gear manual. But it seems to work fine :D

Thanks for the kind response...

Mine is a 75HP (non-VNT-turbo), and the remap/turbo is a highreving combination. The new turbo is from a Toyota CT9 from a Toyota Starlet 1,3 GT Turbo (petrol) and was also used on the older 1,8 TD-engines (diesel).

The disadvantage is, that it takes a bit longer for the turbopressure to built up - but when it comes, it flyes away...

As you can see, I have 115HP from 4.000 rpm, and it drops to aproxx. 100HP at 5.000 rpm. When I change gear, the engine hits about 4.000 rpm again in the next gear, so I have a good powerband... If I keep the throttle in the floormats...

Hey! your car looks great! impressive mods! I just have one question. Can you please tell me what is the part number or kit number of the TEIN coil-over kit you used? Is it the QSY14-CVAS2 kit? Thank you!

Thanks... :-)

I found this from the order confirmation:
QSY14-CVAS2:TEIN[1] TEIN DRIVING MASTER BASIC DAMPER-COILOVER KITS Driving Master Basic Damper Coilover Kit - YARIS 98-05 Toyota YARIS 98 to 05 NCP10

So yes - it's the same as you posted... :-)

Fantastic, have you still got the car?
Would love to know more. I’m thinking about doing my d4d up a bit.
