Thinking about putting it in a garage for the weekend. Probably less than $100. Also reread the insurance policy :)

Keep it on high ground to avoid flooding.

Strap some pontoons to the sides, should be light enough to float!

I've got the same strategy as Marty, my yaris is hiding in the Northwoods.

We're not talking about a Chrysler here. The Yaris can handle whatever you throw at it, including Mother Nature.

To avoid your yaris from damages due to falling trees & branches, flying debris park your yaris in an open area like school..... i did!

If this website had a rep system, I'd flood you with rep. That's genius! lol

Parked mine close to the house. If the house fell on it, I'd have bigger things to worry about than the Yaris. Came in handy afterwards before power was restored when I used it to run an inverter to power the InterWebz for me. Looked strange with an extension cord running out the window into the house....

I presently live in an apartment so, my Yaris is not garage kept.

I was a bit woried about the high winds and driving rain that went on for a couple of days. I expected some possible water leaks into the interior.

However, I was pleasently surprised that there was not a drop of water that found its way inside.
Also, after careful inspection of the exterior, there was no visible damage to the paint, etc.

As my apt is on high ground, flooding was never a concern even though many areas arond here were flooded.
