Any body have an experience with the Bosch Platinum+4 spark plug with the yaris' engine? Getting close to 110000 miles and would like to replace the plugs but was wondering about the Bosch as an engineer friend recommened them. Thanks

NGK iridium IX. That is all. Sorry I don't have anything against Bosch (great wiper blades and some o.e.m stuff) But NGK makes some great plugs, plus I don't know anybody who is spending the money on those +4's

I also know (and heard of) of a few mechanics who recomend Bosch Platinum plugs to replace OEM iridium plugs
Their recomendations all seem to be just a result of habit and ignorance about iridium pluigs.
Just get iridium plugs for a Yaris!

Yes I have them in my car. They were good for the first 20,000km and then they just level out to any other plug.
I pulled them out when I was turbo'd and they had some carbon built up on them. When I took the turbo off I put them back in after cleaning them and they still feel the same as when I took them out.
I wouldn't recommend them for the money they cost. Next year I'm going back to regular iridium tipped plugs.
