interior LED lights installation?

I just bought some LED lights form auto zone and i'm putting them under the driver's side so it illuminates the pedals. I tried wiring them, but accidentally ended up connecting them to the dome lights. I want them to turn on when i turn my headlights on...does anyone know where the headlight wires are or how to do this?

just take a lead off the dash lights, they're what I wired off of when I had my cavalier - that way they're dim-able , or go for the cigarette lighter if you don't use it heavily.

Personally, I would tap into the parking light circut/fuse for those lights.

There would probably be a problem using the dash dimmer for them as it will not work with any tach lights (for example) that I'm aware of.
