2008 Manual Cruise Control

I recently bought a 2008 Yaris, base model. It has a manual transmission without power windows or doorlocks. It, unfortunately, did not have cruise control installed. I saw a few DIY guides on how to add cruise control on here though.
Mainly, I am wondering how in-depth/difficult the process is? About how long does this process take to DIY? Also, what are your recommendations on having someone else install it over doing it myself? I am not 100% dumb on fixing things, but I really hate to mess something up too.

My DIY document shows the soup to nuts of what it involved in installing cruise control on your car. It is really not complicated or difficult, but will probably take 4 to 6 hours for someone who is not experienced with doing something like this.
