I just want to say after doing some "spirited" driving, the little yaris has a lot more YAR! Makes a world of difference. I really like the back sliding out :) makes things more fun. Yay for huge abandon parking lots

I see am am not alone on the back sliding out......I did it on a freeway onramp.....very wide one speedlimit on it was 30,about a quarter of the way into the ramp(cloverleaf) I punched it and about halfway through it gave just enough to let you know it was no longer following......loved it.

Car still tracked around the corner like on rails, steering into the slide just a bit to keep from going in the ditch and it just took it like a champ....the rear sway is like night and day in the car.

Toyota dropped the ball by not adding one during production. Massive improvement. Zero downside.

Are they adding one from the factory for the 2012 SE?

^ Toyota left out a few "must haves" to keep the cost down, I think.

Yeah it's too bad they went for the cosmetic stuff(visuals) instead of the engine and powertrain for the brunt of the changes for 2012. Luckily we've got you to take care of the good stuff.

Yes, but another reason that most all auto maufactures use is you can't have a relatively inexpensive econmy car handling (looking etc) about as good as the more expensive models.
So, they just purposely "dumb down" the "cheap" cars.

I just installed the 23mm sway bar and love it. The little Yaris feels much more stable on the interstate and turning is a lot more precise.

I got the 23mm bar also and contrary to some opinions, it is not too "heavy" for a DD.
I have absolutely no regrets/second thoughts about getting the 23mm over the 19mm.

^ but not a sway bar. And, that one doesn't do much. I would do underbracing first.

The rear end really slides out? I'll have to buy one.
