Hi
I was going to purchase some new alloy wheels for my (2008 stock) yaris.
195/50R15 38offset.
but the shop assistant said they won't fit my yaris
So the question is would they fit my yaris?

1. You are giving a tire size, not a wheel size: 195/50/15. The wheels are 15"x?" in size?
That is a low profile tire, however -- 195/55/15 or 195/60/15 would be closer to stock I think.
2. +38mm is a fine offset. I ran 16x7 Sportmax with that and it was good.
3. Which wheels are you talking about? -- I'd be happy to help you with a wheel purchase. (818) 610-3635 is our shop number.

I couldnt find anywhere where it gives the width of the rim.. But reguardless these look like it will fit.. like garm says, I think the shop wont put these on because the tire is more of a low profile then oem...

I have noticed while looking for wheels/tires as of late that shops or online vendors either won't put a tire on that is not listed by the manufacturer or they will force a waiving of liability to include not honoring warranty. Garm would be a great choice to go through as he will ensure you are taken care of.

wow those are $400 USD each? They better be forged, and they better be very, very lightweight for that.
