Yeah, "It's a Car!" is the silliest campaign slogan I've seen in a while. :thumbdown:


Comes across as, "we know most of the public wouldn't consider this to be a real car (common stereotype of sub-compacts), but it is indeed a car". That's not how you want to sell a car.

imo, its better in every way than the current yaris, other than the powertrain being the same.

problem is, the competition is even better in this segment than when the current yaris debuted.

the only value i can see with the new yaris is the 3 door with a manual transmission

ha. i left the yaris because at the time they only offered 3 doors and i needed a 4 door hatch. (i ended up w/ a corolla instead). once i saw and drove the new accent i had to have it, and ive always been a toyota loyalist.
