factory remote problem

hey guys.....I know that there might be a thread for this post buy I wanna double check anyways.....well recently, like the past 2 days I had found out that my remote will not lock/unlock my 07 H/B and the only way to unlock and lock is by using my key to unlock or lock the car....I had change my battery for my remote but nothing happened and I try to do bout reprogramming it myself buy I tried but no luck so far.....my question is that is there any easier way? or that's the only way? well anyway plz help....don't wanna drive down to dealer that wants me to pay $80 or more just to check it....so plz help

If reprogramming the remote doesn't work, then try disconnecting the negative batter terminal for a couple of minutes to reset the system.

hey actually i had did what u had told me to....disconnecting the negative cable of battery and it did works....lol thanks for the help i really appreciates it...now it works and got a new battery for my remote...there's no doubt that i don't have to worry no more :D
