DRL wires

Does anyone know where the wires for the drls are, I have an '08 HB and would like to change the DRLs from the main headlight bulb to that small bulb on the inboard side of the actual headlight. I know for the Mk3 Jetta I had my friend moved an wire on the switch itself. Can anyone help me.

The large blue wire in pin 1 of the DRL module is the output. You can clip that wire, cap the harness side and connect the module side to whatever bulb you want to be your DRL.

Between the steering column and the radio.

If you take both panels off from under the steering column you'll find the DRL tucked away right up against the center column (where the radio is) on the bottom right hand side of the panel you just took off.
