Ok, this may be a really stupid question. But what color is the dash gauge cluster supposed to be in a 2007 Yaris RS HB 5 door, manual. The reason I am asking is mine is Orange, yet I saw the same one and it was blue…. WTF ????
Thanks .... oh, i am in Canada

Perhaps it was a RS that did a mod and changed the colour, which would look much better IMO.

Wish my LB (so a non-RS) hatchback had BLUE lighting instead of white! BLUE is key and soooooo awesome! Love it on the Volkwagens so much!! So cool looking. And different. Great contrast w/ the red.
RS has Amber Illumination, non-RS is Blue/White...
Cheers
non-RS models get white OR blue??? I have never heard of the Canadian non-RS Hatchbacks having blue lighting before stock from dealer! Where did you hear this?
AFAIK, its amber for RS models, and white for non-RS models.
EDIT:
Also wish I could order this (blue!) Interior Light Kit for my Canadian Yaris Hatchback. But apparently it's only offered in the US on their Yaris models. :frown:

You can make your own footwell lighting quite easily, I think it's in the DIY manual.
As for blue gauges... Different for sure
I'm weird though... Until recently I was a nut for blue lights... Anything that had a green or orange LED in it, I'd take it apart and solder in a new one... From optical mice to keyboard caps lock lights, even took apart my 17" CRT monitor to swap the LED (kids, don't try this at home). It looked good, and it was fun. Oh and it was BRIGHT, no need for a night light in my room!!
But now, you see blue lighting everywhere, from cheap Compaq computers to all sorts of equipment, it's getting kinda gaudy, and I'm kinda sick of it... For my car I'm sticking to a red and white theme... Almost tempted to take apart my head unit to change the blue lights to white...
But hey, that's just me, if blue lights appeal to you then by all means, go nuts, it's fun
