Thinking about a drive up to Stowe for some fall scenery around mid Oct. Anyone have any suggestions or input?

I spent my college years up that way in Northfield, VT. That whole area is really nice during the fall. Up around Stowe, driving 108 up through the mountains is a really nice cruise.

I completely forgot about that, but I guess as long as you are in the high ground areas you are OK.
