I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with the stock headunit. I figured out this morning that my radio says it has a disc in it but I know that it doesn't. When I press the eject button it tries to eject but nothing happens. It also will not load a disc. I took it into a Toyota dealership near my school but the cant do anything until next week.

or they want to wait for me to drive another 700 miles so my warranty is up and i have to pay to fix it. im not gonna worry about it, if it really bugs me i'll just spend some money and get an aftermarket head unit

Well i only have about 400 more miles til the warranty is up and i will drive more than that this weekend. I hardly ever use my cd player, I was just wondering if anybody else had that problem.

i just recently had this problem. unfortunately, my warranty had just run out 45 days before it happened. still trying to decide whether to try to have it repaired or just replace it.

People tell me why my radio does not catch a wave that end in even numbers 106.6:101.2 for example?
He catches only odd at the end of 100.9:104.7.
What can I do to catch him?

I have been having this exact same problem.
Has anyone found a solution, other than just replacing the damn thing?
Mine happened shortly after the warranty expired, of course. Most days I can't play a CD at all, because it claims there is a disc in the player when there is not.

I kept getting "CD Error 1". Solution was just to replace it. And by that time my aux port quit as well.
