I just bought this on eBay

Hello I am a newbie here and to owning a Yaris. I have a 2007 Yaris 5-Door HB.

I bought a new blank key and remote fob from eBay, the price was $45.00CAD shipped to me. Is that a good deal? I have no idea what a dealer would charge.

I did some research on this website and have determined my car doesn't have an immobilizer. I guess that is good because I can program the remote key fob myself? I just need to have the key cut. That is when I receive the key..lol.

I am glad this website is here because it is very knowledgeable.

Just an update, finally got the key fob/blank. I took it to a Toyota dealer near my town. They cut it and programmed it for $30.00CAD. I think that is a great deal so for about $80.00CAD I have a second fully functional keyless entry remote fob and key. I am happy!! WOOHOO!!
