53000 miles and Maintenance Required Light?

:confused: During a recent road trip to Colorado, just after a fill-up, I was getting the Maintenance Required light illuminated for a about 30 seconds, then it would go out. Now, at approximately 53000 miles (and after an oil change), after a fill-up of fuel, the Maintenance Required light now stays illuminated.

I made sure the gas cap was "clicked".

Any suggestions?...pull the ground off the battery and reset???:iono:

did you reset the oil change light after you got it changed out?

I got a bit panicked the first time mine came on. I'm pretty sure the user manual has the instructions for resetting it too, in the event you're not near the interwebs the next time it comes on. =)
